This bark painting is by the well-known Kalumburu artist Lily Karadada. It measures 18 x 10 inches and was painted in 1995. Using ochre and other natural pigments Lily depicts the enigmatic Wandjina figure of the Kimberly region. The bark has a 5 inch split at the bottom, but this is not distracting.
